iRODS celebrates its ever growing consortium each year by hosting its User Group Meeting around the world.
I’ve had the privilege of branding this event for the past 6 years. From 2019 to the present, working with the iRODS team has always been inspirational, and ultra creative.
We’re back at home this year and hosting UGM at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park! iRODS’ consortium members are truly in for a treat this year.
We’re heading back to the Netherlands to host UGM 2024! And this time Amsterdam is landing spot. I was tasked with highlighting renown Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh.
Feels good to be home. iRODS is located in the beautiful city of Chapel Hill. Chapel Hill is also home to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Go Heels!
The world has finally opened back up! And the iRODS team couldn’t be more excited to get back on tour! This time the User Group Meeting was held in Leuven, Belgium. We wanted to highlight real architecture in Leuven, specifically the churches.
It’s 2 years into the pandemic and everyone’s getting accustomed to working from home. iRODS rolled with the changes and came back with an even more engaging attendee experience.
2020 presented the world with unprecedented challenges and pivots were necessary to remain consistent. This was iRODS’s first ever completely virtual conference.
We definitely learned a lot from this experience and have applied it’s teachings till this present day.
This was my first year working with the iRODS team in regards to their User Group Meeting. And also this was my first time traveling internationally. The theme for this event was canals, and bridges. Utrecht is known for its classic architecture and beautiful canals throughout the city.
